More than 57,000 lives have been saved since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. More than 113,000 throughout PDMSh’s history. None of this would have been possible without our medics.
Dear medical professionals, Today is your professional holiday, and we wanted to make this greeting a little different. In this video, you’ll hear from soldiers whose lives you helped save and whose futures you changed forever. Joining them are military medics, chiefs of medical services, and our colleagues from the units we proudly work alongside.
On Medical Workers’ Day, we want to thank everyone who saves lives: military medics serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of Ukraine’s Defence Forces, fellow volunteer medical units, civilian hospital staff, and emergency medical service teams. To every doctor, nurse, paramedic, combat medic, orderly, medical evacuation driver, and first aid instructor—to everyone whose work gives people another chance at life every single day.
