For PDMSh, Medical Workers’ Day has always been a day of reunion—a chance to come together, see one another, offer support, share conversations, and simply spend time side by side.
This year, however, our gathering was especially difficult. In recent weeks, the enemy has brought us profound loss. Above all, we remembered those who are no longer with us — our fallen volunteers and comrades-in-arms.
We are deeply grateful for their dedication, courage, and selflessness. We remember each of them. We remember everything they did for Ukraine and for the people whose lives they helped save.
On this day, several PDMSh volunteers were also honored with state awards and departmental distinctions. Among them were:
- Order for Courage, III Class;
- Certificate of Honor of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with commemorative badge;
- Cross of Honor Medal, awarded by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine;
- Commendation of the National Guard of Ukraine;
- Honorary Award of the Mykola Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital.
Congratulations to all those who received these well-deserved honors. And thank you to every medic, volunteer, and our brothers- and sisters-in-arms in uniform. We continue the mission that brought all of us to PDMSh in the first place — to save lives.
