After three months of fighting for his life, Oleksandr Borysovych, “Polyak,” has passed away — our first frontline loss in nearly eleven years of war.
We fought for him as best we could. Day after day, hoping for a miracle. Doctors, comrades, friends — we all stood by his side until the very last breath of hope. But this time, sadly, the battle with death was lost.
“Polyak” was one of those who never retreat. Who saved others even when standing on the edge himself. Who always went where it was hardest — quietly, without unnecessary words.
Honor and eternal memory. You leave behind more than memories — you leave a mark in every life you saved, in everyone who knew you. Rest in peace, brother. You’ve earned your rest beneath the soft clouds of the Ukrainian sky. Our heartfelt condolences to the family and all who knew and loved Oleksandr Borysovych.
Details of the funeral will be announced later.
