Every day, Pirogov First Volunteer Mobile Hospital (PDMSh) volunteers medics provide urgent medical care to wounded soldiers and civilians on the front lines. They are ready to sacrifice their time, energy, and sometimes even their lives to save others. For thirty months of this brutal war, we haven't stopped for a moment, helping everyone in need — from severely wounded patients to those with somatic illnesses who also require qualified medical assistance.
From March 2022 to August 2024, we have treated 40,946 patients. Since PDMSh began its work in 2014, this number has reached around 100,000 patients. This statistic highlights the crucial role volunteer medics play in ensuring the continuous delivery of medical care in wartime conditions. They are the invisible front without which the defense of our country would be unimaginable.
We remind you that two critical fundraising campaigns are currently underway: one for the purchase of an armored medevac vehicle to protect our medics during evacuations, and another for vital resuscitation equipment.
Every dollar, and every euro invested in PDMSh work has a direct impact on providing medical care to our defenders and civilian victims of Russian aggression. Don't stay on the sidelines — together, we are stronger!
