Unwave’s EW systems have become a shield for PDMSh evacuation crews.

Today, we’re sharing more about our EW systems that protect crews and the wounded during evacuation missions.

When we saw that evacuation routes were becoming increasingly dangerous due to active enemy drone attacks, protecting the crews and the wounded became critically important. We began looking for solutions and spoke with several providers, but it was Unwave that offered the best option.

Unwave didn’t just offer a solution — they gave us the perfect answer to our needs: a comprehensive protection system combining electronic warfare and a threat scanner. It covers all the essential frequency ranges used by drones along PDMSh evacuation routes.

Moreover, the system operates automatically — it activates protection as soon as it detects a threat. This is incredibly important, as the evacuation vehicle driver often helps medics load and unload the wounded, and every second can mean the difference between life and death.

This is made possible by a specialized threat scanner that detects enemy FPV drone and automatically activates the EW system to jam them. This significantly increases the chances of safely transporting the wounded to a stabilization point.

And we’re already seeing results: one of our evacuation crews managed to avoid an enemy FPV drone attack and save lives — thanks to this system.

“We’ve experienced firsthand that EW systems truly work. This system, installed on our Humvee evacuation vehicle, has already protected us from enemy drone attacks multiple times — and not just us, but also the wounded we evacuate. Unfortunately, drones are a daily reality in these areas, so today there’s a real need to equip our other vehicles with similar EW systems. This will save many lives. We sincerely thank everyone involved in developing and installing this system on our evacuation vehicles!”
